The Reading and Writing Connection: Action Research from the GTN Project

Although reading and writing are often taught as separate subjects, the teaching and understanding of them is strongly interconnected. North Carolina educators have already seen a shift in this direction with the implementation of the Reading 3D/mCLASS Assessments. Using action research from Governor’s Teacher Network projects, this module will build a further understanding of the connections between reading and writing in the classroom.
