Literacy Strategies in the Math Classroom: Action Research from the GTN Project

Literacy is a set of skills that students need to build in all content areas, including math! This module summarizes current research on literacy strategies for math instruction and highlights a few specific strategies teachers can use during math instruction to improve literacy, especially as it relates to math. The strategies included here are showcased in the action research of Governor’s Teacher Network participants.
