Teaching Through the Lens of Revised Bloom's Taxonomy

The purpose of this module is to provide an overview of the Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy which is a common framework that has a common vocabulary that can be used to think and talk about standards. The module provides an overview of the Cognitive Dimensions, Knowledge Domains, verbs within this taxonomy and their relationship to instruction, learning, and assessment. A shared understanding of standards among educators is more likely when there is a shared framework and language.
