Simplified model of action research

1. Identify area of focus. Investigating the current situation and planning how to start.
2. Apply innovation/intervention. Beginning to introduce some changes and keeping notes and records
3. Collect data. Monitoring the impact of changes (interviews, observations, notes, evidence of learning)
4. Analyze/Interpret Data. Develop Action Plan. Analyzing and interpreting data to evaluate changes; planning next step.
5. Publish. Making knowledge public.
