Teacher Interview: Pam Mills
Before retiring May 1, 2014, Pam Mills served as an educator for forty-four years and represented North Carolina teachers as Region 1 Teacher of the Year for the year 2012-2013. Mrs. Mills is a graduate of Emmanuel College and Appalachian State University with a degree in secondary English. She is also a certified K-12 teacher for AIG students. During her tenure Mrs. Mills served in numerous district and state capacities, including the North Carolina Standards and Accountability Commission. She is a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and Phi Delta Kappa. Protecting and preparing tomorrow’s future is her life’s purpose. She and her husband Ron reside in Manteo, North Carolina.
